Sally has returned to “settle” in Hong Kong after wandering in rural China for 15 years. For more than 30 years, she has been exploring how to interact with other people and make changes in small areas, so that she and others can live an independent and good life without adding too much burden to the earth. Throughout her times as a high school teacher, or later working with labour and women’s groups through drama and music actions, and then to join the Asian women domestic worker NGO, she has been asking the same questions as she works to deal with the lives of others: let’s think together, what kind of society do we want? Are you interested in doing something together? and to this day, the question most heartfelt: Do I love myself?
