皮膚我們的身體和世界之間的屏障，但它同時是我們與他人和自己接觸的介面。「Skinship」這個概念源自於日本，指的是在狹義「性」以外，身體與身體、人與人之間其他親密的可能性。
先於語言，我們透過肌膚連結。
但可惜的是，疫情之下，我們對於人與人之間的身體接觸有了新的認識與體會：除了作為溝通不可缺少的元素，以及關愛與幸福感的來源之外，觸摸也是傳播病毒的致命動作。在這個時代，我們如何再次擁抱自己、擁抱彼此？
本節身體工作坊將探討我們與「觸摸」之間的充滿張力的關係：為何我們渴望和需要觸碰，但同時害怕和逃避身體接觸？ 我們如何重新認識身體的相遇作為維持心靈與精神健康的重要元素？
我們邀請到香港著名心理治療師Sarah Breidenbach，帶領學員一起探索「肌膚之親」，重新思考親密和連結的不同可能性。

Skin, it’s a barrier between our bodies and the world. But it’s also our place of contact with others and ourselves.
In this workshop called, “Skinship: A workshop on vulnerability and human connection” we will explore why touch is something we crave and require, but also something we fear and avoid. How did it come to be both things? How can we develop an awareness and cultivate touch as a site for positive physical and mental health?
The Covid pandemic has brought our need for connection to the forefront of everyone’s mind. Come learn from one of Hong Kong’s leading psychotherapist, Sarah Breidenbach, about the importance of skinship - the possibility of touch and intimacy beyond the sexual.
In the meantime, we invite participants to ponder this: In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the lungs rule the skin. And in Western medicine, modern studies find that the same embryonic lung cells migrate to form our skin. In other words, could we say that our skin and touch are as important as breathing?
Thanks to the kind support of Aesop to our program, participants of this session can bring home a special gift from Aesop, to nourish your body and mind! First-come-first-served basis while stocks last.

- Participants please arrive 15 minutes before event start time.
- Sold tickets cannot be refunded.
- The Organizer reserves the right to reject any particular person to participate in the event without reasons.

- Inclement Weather Arrangements:
- Black Rainstorm Warning: All programme will continue as scheduled.
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above: Programme that have started will continue. If warning signal is in effect 2 hours prior to the start of the programme, the programme will be cancelled. The programme may be re-scheduled, or the participants can choose to receive refund.
- Participant agrees to the main terms and conditions and specific terms and conditions when they purchase tickets or participate in the events.
