朱古力品鑒師陳嘉恩(Katie Chan)熱愛朱古力多年，曾參與開發一系列”awfully chocolate”朱古力產品。投入朱古力事業期間，發現只有少數人了解真正朱古力和可可豆背後的故事，年前毅然出走到倫敦報讀朱古力品嚐證書課程，並在 2013 年創辦”The Chocolate Club Hong Kong”，舉辦各類朱古力品嚐班，從外國引入香港少見的高品質朱古力，分享如何從可可豆原產地、朱古力的味道、色澤 、香味等多角度欣賞朱古力。參與過 International Chocolate Awards 和 Academy of Chocolate 評審。近年作不同嘗試將風味不同的精品朱古力和不同的飲品作拼配。例如有威士忌、陳年冧酒及近年流行的雞尾酒。在 2021 年，開辦了香港第 一家以精品朱古力為主題的 cafe – CHOKOHOOD。致力在香港推廣精品朱古力文化。
Certified chocolate connoisseur Katie Chan (affectionately known as The Chocolate Lady in Hong Kong) has long had a fondness for all things food and beverage since at a young age.
It is during her numerous research trips while working as a confectionery product developer that she found herself completely captivated by the fascinating world of chocolate. To further her understanding in the realm of chocolate tasting, she earned a certified qualification from the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting in London.
In 2013, she founded her own company – “The Chocolate Club Hong Kong” with the vision to promote chocolate appreciation to the masses through education and to import a carefully curated selection of bean-to-bar chocolate brands to widen the selection of high quality chocolate products in Asia. Her chocolate education and pairing workshops were well received by partners such as: Harbour City and Hennessy. Her expertise did not go unnoticed by the industry professionals. She was appointed as Judge of the International Chocolate Awards World Final session and the Academy of Chocolate Grand Jury session. In 2021, she opened the first craft chocolate concept café in Hong Kong – CHOKOHOOD.
