Tina Liu is a renowned image consultant, designer, and style icon. Tina was elected by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association as one of the \u201cTen Best Dressed Personalities in Hong Kong\u201d, and her 40 years of experience in image design, production and training has earned her accolades such as \u201cFirst Lady of Looking Good\u201d, \u201cImage Guru\u201d, \u201cStyle Icon\u201d and \u201cChina\u2019s Premier Image Consultant\u201d. <\/p>\n

Starting her career during Hong Kong\u2019s prime in the 1980s and 1990s, Tina considers herself luck, as she was able to contribute to the city\u2019s golden age of pop culture such including television, film, publishing, fashion, and music. Her extensive experience in Hong Kong\u2019s creative industries earns her the title of \u201cthe style godmother of the golden age of Hong Kong\u201d. Her attitude towards work is captured in her essay collection and autobiography, The Original Tina: “”Do what you love \u2013 it is only when you truly love something that you can devote yourself to it. Love what you do \u2013 and work will not be work, but fun.”” Despite her heavy workload, Tina cherishes each challenge as a learning experience.
\nTina believes that each individual is unique, and we are all charming in our own way. She shares her view on style: “”Taste can be nurtured, the most important thing is to keep your mind open. I like to observe, travel, read, or just go online \u2013 take in everything, enrich your style vocabulary.\u201d Tina constantly reminds herself how big the world is, that there are different cultures and standards of beauty, as she from the unique cultural and historical context of Hong Kong where East meets West, and flourishes in creating a whole new style that is uniquely hers. <\/p>\n

As for her view on self-care, Tina is a firm believer of work-life balance and self-love: \u201cI believe in constant exploration and learning, living life to the fullest. Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter Serrini debuted in 2012 with her album “”Why Preyest Thou Upon the Poet’s Heart\u201d with instant critical attention. Ever since, Serrini has been hotly sought-after for art and cultural events as a performer and\/or as a speaker. <\/p>\n

She sings of honest emotions and whimsical anecdotes. With her signature mellow melodies and shrewd humour, Serrini conquers the hearts of many. In autumn 2017, Serrini presented the world with her 4th album \u201cDon\u2019t Text Him\u201d, topping the iTunes HK album chart at its release. In 2018, she toured 16 cities and attended large-scale music festivals. Her sold-out concert in Music Zone HK in July 2018 marked her budding career as an indie-Cantopop singer-songwriter. Her chart-topping 5th album \u201cSongs of Experience\u201d was published in April 2019. A month after the release, she held a full concert at the Macpherson Stadium with impeccable production scale. Unstoppable, Serrini is unstoppable.<\/p>\n

Carmen Yau is a registered social worker and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include application on digital storytelling, social media, multimedia, and other social work practices. Carmen has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and a quadriplegic who depends on a power wheelchair. She is specialized in psychology, health counseling, and social work. Her disability inspires her to pursue academic contributions and putting social work value into practice.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Carmen does not only focus on assisting disabled women to explore and express their gender identity, but she also advocates for sexual rights and independent living for disabled people in general. Carmen concerns sexuality of disabled people in Hong Kong and overseas disability communities. She was entitled the \u201cHong Kong\u2019s Tiller\u201d by Taiwan Hand Angels for her dedication to enhancing people with disabilities, service providers and, the general public\u2019 s critical thinking on the current support and oppression against people with disabilities. Besides speaking publicly in seminars and media, she is also the writer and founder of \u201cSugar\u2019s XXX Stories\u201d, a series of erotica stories about disabled people. Carmen was invited to speak at the TEDx TinHauWomen to share her inspiration and the importance of narrating erotica to relieve people\u2019s sexual desires.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
